Our Program

First Year Students

Our curriculum places focus on primary care. The DVM program involves several key phases of study with 165 total credits required to graduate.

Second Year Students

The first and second years of the program are designed to provide a strong foundation in the basic sciences.

DVM Curriculum

Third Year Students

The third year of the program builds on students' foundational knowledge and introduces them to the complexities of clinical reasoning, treatment and diagnosis of common and unique ailments found in various species.

Fourth Year Students

Year four of the program provides students clinical experiences through core and elective clinical rotations. These rotations take place in our Veterinary Teaching Hospital and extended facilities as well as through externships throughout the country and the world.
