Enrollment Essentials
Everything you need to make enrollment a breeze.
New Student Survey
In preparation for activities planned before school officially begins, the student services office has created a survey for new students to complete. This survey is due June 16.
Class Schedule
Fall 2025 class schedules are available now. Schedules are subject to change as the school year approaches so check this link frequently for updates.
Rabies Vaccination
The rabies pre-exposure vaccine series is required for all new CVM students. University Health Services will hold a Rabies Vaccination Clinic on August 20, August 27, September 10, and September 17. Appointment bookings will be sent in August. If you have already received the vaccination, please submit a copy by October 15.
Digital Media Guidelines
As a member of the OSU CVM family, we ask you to be mindful of content posted on social media. Review the Digital Media Guidelines carefully and use it as a reference when online.
CVM Library
The William E. Brock Memorial Library is a subject-focused branch of the OSU Library and serves all CVM faculty, researchers, clinicians, students, staff, and alumni.
ExamSoft
The CVM uses ExamSoft for testing. Students should review the computer software requirements to ensure that their devices are supported.
Cost & Financial Aid
Estimate the cost of an OSU DVM. Students needing financial assistance must complete the FAFSA immediately. Once complete, you may contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at finaid@okstate.edu or 405-744-6604.
Health Professions Loan
This loan is for students in the College of Veterinary Medicine. These funds can be used for educationally-related costs, including, but not limited to, general enrollment fees, tuition, room/board and books.
Scholarships
The CVM scholarship application will open to current DVM students in November. Awards are based on proficiency, academics, need, financial status, and area of interest.
House System
We are not quite Hogwarts, but the OSU CVM house system promotes wellness, camaraderie, and mental and emotional health while building and establishing relationships. Complete the House System survey to be sorted into Camuti, Ewing, Iben, or Krull.
Buddy Program
The Buddy Program matches first-year students to upperclassmen providing extra support for new students as they transition into the program. Please, complete the survey to be paired.
Student ID
All students are required to have an OSU ID card. ID cards are essential to enter access-controlled doors for class, meal plan transactions, visiting the Colvin Center, and much more. Students may visit the Classroom building, room 421 no earlier than 14 days before the first day of class to request their ID card.
Parking Permit
Students may purchase a parking permit after August 1 through the online parking portal. Veterinary students typically purchase a silver commuter permit to park in Lot 78. Visit the Campus Parking Services website to purchase a permit and view an OSU Parking Map.
