Ashish Ranjan, B.V.Sc., Ph.D.Kerr Chair for Biomedical Laser and Biophotonics

Dr. Ranjan earned his BVSc degree (DVM equivalent) from Madras Veterinary College, in Chennai, India. He earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences from Virginia Tech. Ranjan then was a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Interventional Oncology, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the National Institutes of Health. He is the director of the Institute for Translational and Emerging Research in Advanced Comparative Therapy.
