CVM Enrollment Essentials
Welcome to the next step on your journey to becoming a veterinarian! The CVM Enrollment Essentials Canvas page provides important information, resources, required tasks, class schedules, supplies, and key programs to support your transition into the DVM program. Be sure to log in to Canvas using your Okey account and complete the Incoming Student Checklist, as Canvas will be used for all DVM courses and for important student information.
Enrollment Essentials
Orientation
Orientation is required for all incoming DVM students and will be held August 10–12, 2026. It provides important information, resources, and activities to help prepare for the first semester, meet classmates, and become familiar with the facilities, the curriculum, and student life at the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
Induction Ceremony
The Induction Ceremony is a special tradition that welcomes incoming students into the veterinary profession and the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine community. Held on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, students receive their grey coat and celebrate the beginning of their journey in veterinary medicine alongside classmates, faculty, family, and friends.
