Application Process

Student participants are selected from applicants in the pre-clinical years of the DVM program based on academic performance and a one-page essay by the applicants describing why they want to participate in the program and how you expect it to contribute to your career. The essay should include specific ideas regarding how research training would further specific goals, and an outline describing how you plan to pursue a research career.

 

• If you are from a different school or outside of U.S., please make sure to attach your transcript.
• Selected students are then matched with a faculty research mentor based on a combination of their expressed research interest and agreement of faculty (both based on prior discussions between students and prospective mentors).
