International Outreach Programs

Students

We provide students from our partner universities with an opportunity to come and complete one or two cycles of clinical rotations at OSU CVM. Similarly, we are expanding the number of partner universities that can host OSU students for their clinical roations abroad.

International Clinical Rotations

In 2023, we started an exchange program for DVM students with our partner universities in India. As part of the program, we hosted 6 groups of Indian students for 4-week clinical rotations and a group of 10 OSU CVM students traveled to India. OSU CVM students spent 4 weeks in Chennai, completing their international externship.

In 2024, we plan to broaden our international partnerships and establish similar programs with more universities in India, Mexico, and Thailand.

Faculty

We promote knowledge exchange and professional growth through an international exchange program for faculty members. We are in the process of establishing a global network of partner organizations to be at the forefront of innovation and research in the field of veterinary medicine and related fields.

International Faculty Exchange Program

In 2023, we started a short-term scholar exchange program for faculty members from our partner universities. So far, we have hosted 16 faculty members from universities in India, who completed training session of various lengths in their particular fields.

In 2024, we aim to continue in this progress and hope to welcome faculty members from a variety of different countries.
