Frequently Asked Questions

  • I can't get connected!

First, don't panic.  Call Jake at 405-744-5613 for technical assistance.  It may take him a few minutes to get back to you, so please be patient.  You may also call Cabe at 405-744-8755.

Remember - you can call in to one of the zoom numbers provided to listen to the content.  If you call in to listen you will need to email us your cell phone number and full name (to vetmedevents@okstate.edu) so we can credit your time appropriately.

  • May I watch recordings after the meeting for CE?

OSU CVM does not currently have a cost effective platform to offer viewing of conference recordings after the meeting at this time.   Please plan to watch the sessions live via zoom.

  • Where do I find the agenda and who is speaking?

The agenda and the speakers are listed on their respective webpages: AGENDA and SPEAKERS

  • How much are registration fees?

DVM early bird registration (through 5 p.m., May 26) is $275. After May 26, the registration fee will be $350.

Assistants/Nurses/Staff/Technicians early bird registration (through 5 p.m., May 26) is $225. After May 26, the registration fee will be $300.

  • How many CE hours is Summer Seminar approved for?

Summer Seminar is approved for up to 10 Continuing Education credits by the Oklahoma State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.

This course has been approved as CE by the Oklahoma Veterinary Board. If you are licensed in another state, please note many states accept CE when it is offered (1) as approved by another state board (OSU CVM CE is Oklahoma Board approved); or (2) offered by an accredited veterinary school (OSU CVM is an accredited school). Please satisfy yourself as to your state's requirements.

  • May current OSU CVM faculty, staff, and students attend?

Current OSU CVM faculty, staff, and students may view the live webinars at no charge and should register on marketplace. As the event approaches, webinar registration information will be sent via email for those faculty, staff and technicians who wish to attend.

  • How is the content delivered?

All presentations will be virtually delivered over Zoom.

As a reminder, Summer Seminar will be a live, online session hosted via virtual webinar. You will be able to hear and see the speaker and/or his or her presentation and ask questions (by typing) via a Q&A tool, but attendees will be muted (no microphone) and attendee webcams will be turned off.

CE is for LIVE ATTENDANCE ONLY. This means you must attend virtually online during the time it is offered.
Participants will receive a virtual link via email for the offered tracks. Watch for this email the week of the conference.

  • New to virtual content?

Visit the Zoom website and try a test meeting. Still not sure about it? Ask us for a practice session at least two weeks before Summer Seminar.

  • What forms of payment are accepted?  What browser should I use to submit payment?

We accept most major credit cards. The credit card gateway associated with the program may not allow registration from some mobile devices. Please register online from a desktop system.

  • Where can I find the proceedings?

We will email a proceedings link just prior to the event. Watch your email for important updates regarding proceedings and Zoom links.

  • What if I still have questions?

Contact Christine Nichols, christine.nichols@okstate.edu or call 405-744-7672, or 405-744-8587.

  • What if I am licensed in another state?

This course has been approved as CE by the Oklahoma Veterinary Board. If you are licensed in another state, please note many states accept CE when it is offered (1) as approved by another state board (OSU CVM CE is Oklahoma Board approved); or (2) offered by an accredited veterinary school (OSU CVM is an accredited school).
