Prefer: Freshman/Sophomore/Junior Agricultural Communications students, but will consider other strong applicants.
Job Description:
Fast-paced event and continuing education office seeks student work study for assistance developing continuing education events, virtually and face-to-face. Approximately 20/hr week. Students should have time slots of consecutive work availability of at least 3-4 hours during several days of the the week. (example work schedule - 8-12 MWF, or 12-5 TR, or something similar). Work schedule may include occasional hours for events on evening & weekends.

Create print marketing materials such as conference programs

Build online courses, including creating learning activities and exams

Caption online courses

Enter data for scheduling and registration platforms

Assist with face-to-face events, including arranging catering & handling registration, as well as working with speakers contracts & payments

Take promotional photos and videos

Write articles for publication

Create social media posts
Occasionally assist with standard office tasks like filing, invoicing, mailing, emailing and shredding.
This position will help with face-to-face events. Some work is evenings/weekends.
Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Must be trustworthy, responsible, and able to follow instructions (both verbal and written).
Strong customer service skills a must. Student should be a team player and also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, onsite face-to-face registration assistance may be required.
Familiarity with the following resources preferred: Omni, Asana, Canvas, Office 365, Canva, Doodly, Moodle, Canvas Catalog, Eventbrite, Marketplace, Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, and Adobe Creative including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom and Premier.
