Dr. Jim Meinkoth, a New Jersey native, found his way to Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, joining the class of 1985.

 

Dr. Meinkoth then went on to complete a clinical pathology residency. For over three decades, Dr. Meinkoth has been a dedicated faculty member at OSU, specializing in diagnostic cytology. His passion for peering through a microscope has become his livelihood, a dream come true for this lifelong learner. 

 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Meinkoth cherishes his personal life.
He’s been happily married to Tina, also an OSU CVM alumna, for over 40 years. Together, they have an amazing son, Phillip, an attorney in Denver. When not immersed in his work or family, Dr. Meinkoth can often be found on the road, attending Bruce Springsteen concerts – a testament to his enduring passion for music.
