Summer Seminar 2023

The 2023 OSU/OVMA Summer Seminar will be June 15-16, 2023. The seminar will be live sessions delivered virtually via Zoom.

 

Summer Seminar is approved for up to 10 hours of continuing education credit. The seminar begins with two general sessions on mental health and well-being in veterinary medicine from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 15. Companion and large animal tracks will be offered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 16. All participants will have the ability to ask questions. CE is only available for live attendance.

 

Friday topics include Food Trials for Dermatology, Corneal Ulcers, Pre-Purchase Exams (equine), Complex Spay/Neuters, Equine Behavior, Companion Animal Dental, Histoplasmosis, Application of Systems Thinking for Livestock Practices, Antifungal Drug Therapies, Heifer Development and Parasite Management, Emergency Critical Care, and Cooper Toxicosis in Ruminants, among others. Summer Seminar is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.  If you are licensed in another state, please note many states accept CE when it is offered (1) as approved by another state board (OSU CVM CE is Oklahoma Board approved); or (2) offered by an accredited veterinary school (OSU CVM is an accredited school). Please acquaint yourself with your state's requirements.

 

Online registration opens on April 3 at the OSU CVM Marketplace. Early registration is $275 for veterinarians and $225 for RVTs, veterinary nurses and staff.  The early registration price will be available through May 26. OSU CVM faculty, staff and students may view the live webinars at no charge and should register via marketplace. Participants will receive a virtual link via email for the offered tracks.
