Dr. Rosslyn Biggs

Dr. Biggs is the Beef Cattle Extension Specialist for OSU Extension, Director of Continuing Education, Director of the Center for Rural Veterinary Medicine, and a Clinical Assistant Professor for Veterinary Clinical Sciences.

Dr. Biggs is a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Christine Nichols, MS EDTC

Christine Nichols is the Assistant Director of Continuing Education for Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from OSU in 2006. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Educational Technology from OSU in 2025.

Previously, Ms. Nichols worked in a variety of departments at Oklahoma State, including the OSU Police Department, The Registrar's Office, and the College of Arts and Sciences. In these roles, in addition to other duties, she taught a variety of adult education professional development courses.

Her current focus is online professional development courses for veterinary professionals.

Andrea Brown

Andrea Brown is an Event Specialist for Continuing Education at OSU Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Continuing Education team in January 2026.
Ms. Brown earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interiors from Lanier Technical College in Georgia 2024 and brings experience teaching at the college level. Ms. Brown previously worked alongside the Interiors Department Head at Lanier Technical College, supporting academic and departmental initiatives.

Her current focus includes overseeing continuing education events and providing additional educational opportunities for veterinary professionals.

Student Workers

McKenzie Boyer

McKenzie Boyer is a freshman at Oklahoma State University majoring in Agriculture Communications and Animal Science. She joined the Continuing Education team in August 2026. Raised on her family's sixth-generation ranch in Northeast Oklahoma, she developed a strong foundation in agriculture through hands-on experience in the Hereford cattle industry, livestock production, and direct-to-consume beef marketing. Through her involvement in FFA and agriculture organizations, she gained experience in agriculture communications, leadership, and industry engagement. She plans to pursue a career in agriculture and livestock industries. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, she plans to obtain a law degree with a focus on agriculture law and hopes to build a career advocating for and serving the agriculture and livestock industries.

Ashlyn Igo

Ashlyn Igo is a senior at Oklahoma State University majoring in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science. She joined the Continuing Education team as an intern in May 2026 and has since continued her work as a student worker. Raised in Marshall, Missouri, Ashlyn developed a strong foundation in agriculture through years of hands-on involvement with show horses and pigs, gaining valuable experience in animal care, management, and communication with industry professionals. After graduation, Ashlyn plans to pursue a career in the agricultural industry where she can combine her passion for agriculture with her skills in communication, marketing, and outreach. She is particularly interested in helping bridge the gap between agricultural professionals and the public by creating educational content, promoting industry initiatives, and sharing the stories of those who contribute to agriculture. Through her work, she hopes to increase awareness and understanding of agriculture while supporting the producers, businesses, and organizations that are essential to the industry.
