The CVM Alumni Society

The CVM Alumni Society is auxiliary to the OSU Alumni Association. Membership in the CVM Alumni Society is complimentary to all veterinary alumni. By joining the OSU Alumni Association, a portion of your dues rebates to CVM to fund complimentary veterinary alumni events.

To join the OSU Alumni Association and begin receiving and reciprocating benefits, visit the Alumni Association website.

Your alumni network of nearly 4,000 veterinary professionals is one of the school’s most valued constituencies.

Your engagement with CVM Alumni Affairs makes an impact through:

  • Advising the dean on current topics relevant to students
  • Participating as mentors with current students
  • Establishing scholarships to promote student affordability
  • Recognizing student milestones at the Induction and Transition ceremonies
  • Engaging alumni in communications and events through robust Class Representatives
  • Sponsoring external alumni receptions

Internal alumni event sponsorship opportunities:

  • CVM/OVMA Summer Seminar
  • Scholarship Awards Celebration
  • CVM Open House, Avian, Exotic & Zoo Medicine Auction
  • Commencement reunions and activities
  • Fall Conference Class Reunions

The Alumni Affairs office supports our most valued resource, our people.  Contributions directly assist with veterinary alumni and student activities, hosting of alumni internal and external events and occasionally provide support for unique veterinary class projects.
