A Message from the Department Head
As the Head of the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology, I am proud to extend a warm welcome to you. Our department is dedicated to delivering impactful research, advanced instruction, and diagnostic services in key disciplines, including bacteriology, mycology, virology, immunology, parasitology, pathology, epidemiology, and public health.
Our faculty members are integral to the diagnostic mission of the Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, and we are honored to be the academic home of the National Center for Veterinary Parasitology.
The Department of Veterinary Pathobiology faculty serve as Directors to University core facilities, including the Immunopathology Core and Animal Model Core, and Germ-Free Animal Model resources.
We are committed to training the next generation of veterinarians, veterinary specialists, and scientists through a robust educational framework.
