Congratulations to Dianne McFarlane, MS, DVM, DACVIM, on being named a Speaker of the Year by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC). McFarlane, Ricks-Rapp Professorship in Musculoskeletal Research and professor in the Department of Physiological Sciences at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, was voted the equine speaker of the year by veterinary professionals from around the world through NAVC’s Veterinary Meeting and Expo (VMX) attendee feedback. McFarlane frequently speaks about equine endocrine diseases as well as aging in horses.
According to NAVC, more than 350 exceptional and nationally renowned veterinary speakers presented more than 1,200 different sessions that were considered in the selection process.
The VMX 2020 Speakers of the Year include: Eric Garcia (practice management), Mary Gardner (small animal), Temple Grandin (large animal), Micah Kohles (exotics), Dianne McFarlane (equine), and Tasha McNerney (nurse/technician).
