Diagnostic Imaging Locums Needed

The Oklahoma State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital seeks diagnostic imagists for in-person service. Flexible dates are available; a minimum one-week commitment is preferred. Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent and be a Diplomate of ACVR or ECVDI. No state licensing is required.

Duties include:

  • Leading discussions in student topic rounds
  • Providing consultation on in-house cases for small animal, large animal and exotic animal services
  • Excludes after-hours and weekend emergency duties
  • Reports will be generated by an off-site source.

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital houses a 1.5T small animal MRI, CT for both large and small animals, nuclear scintigraphy, fluoroscopy, and three digital radiology suites. The diagnostic imaging service uses eFilm for image viewing and is supported by four outstanding radiology technologists.

Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, one hour from both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The local airport offers daily commercial flights to Dallas. Stillwater has a friendly small-town atmosphere with beautiful countryside and outdoor recreation and all the excitement of the best of Big XII sports and other university events.
