Alumni Awards
CVM Distinguished Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Award is selected and presented by the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society in recognition of outstanding professional and personal achievements and contributions to the enhancement of the veterinary profession.
Each year, the CVM Alumni Society Committee meets to review nominations and select deserving recipients in recognition of their outstanding contributions to society and their excellent portrayal of all that can be accomplished after receiving a degree in veterinary medicine.
Please submit your nomination form before May 1.
Award Requirements
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
· Must be a graduate of the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine for 20 years or more
· Must be nominated by an OSU CVM graduate
· Must have provided significant service to OSU, the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Alumni Association, the CVM Alumni Society, the veterinary profession, and the community
· Please include a limited (up to three pages) curriculum vitae or background summary, including class year
· Supporting nomination endorsement documents are limited to five (5)
Past Recipients
Congratulations to the past recipients of the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society Distinguished Alumni Award. These veterinarians bring pride to OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine for their contributions to the profession and society as a whole.
Recent New Graduate Awards
The Recent Graduates Award is a new award that has been established for recent graduates. Please submit nomination forms before May 1.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
· Must be a graduate of the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine for 20 years or more
· Must be nominated by an OSU CVM graduate
· Must have provided significant service to OSU, the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Alumni Association, the CVM Alumni Society, the veterinary profession, and the community

OSU Alumni Association Awards
Oklahoma State University Alumni Association honors alumni through two different award programs: the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Hall of Fame Award. Several OSU College of Veterinary Medicine alumni have received these university awards in both categories.
